Mother’s Day is right around the corner, why not prepare a pud-tastic day for your mum with a 3-course meal? 🍽️
A starter, main AND dessert using Yorkshire puddings? Yes, you heard us right. It’s time to stock up on the Yorkshires, sharpen your knives and get cooking 👩🍳
Starter: Yorkshire pudding with roast beef and horseradish sauce
The perfect starter: quick and easy with a lot of flexibility. Don’t like roast beef? No problem, add in the meat of your choice or meat-free options if you wish to. Can’t find any horseradish sauce? We’ve got you covered: cranberry sauce or gravy are great substitutes.
Ingredients:
4 The Real Yorkshire Pudding Company Rustic Beef Dripping Yorkshire Puddings
4 slices of roast beef
5-6 tsp horseradish sauce
Method:
- Place your Real Yorkshire Puddings into the oven for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and add the rolls of roast beef and horseradish sauce to your Yorkshire puddings
- Serve to your family and enjoy!
Main: Chilli puddings
We all love roast dinners, but why not mix it up this Sunday with a Yorkshire pudding chilli twist?
Ingredients:
4 The Real Yorkshire Pudding Company Large Gluten Free Yorkshire Puddings
1 packet of mince (plant-based or not)
1 tsp oil
1 red onion
1 red pepper
2 cloves of garlic
3 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp hot paprika
2 tins of chopped tomatoes
1 vegetable stock cube
300ml of boiling water
1 tin of kidney beans
1 cinnamon stick
1 avocado
1 red chilli
The Method:
- Heat your pan with 1 tsp of olive oil and dice your red onion into small pieces, then add your chopped red pepper and 2 cloves of crushed garlic into the pan.
- Wait until they are golden brown and add in your preferred mince.
- Season with paprika and chilli powder (salt and pepper if you wish).
- Once the mince is cooking add in your 2 tins of chopped tomatoes and stir the mixture around.
- Prepare your stock and pour 300ml of boiling water into a measuring jug and slowly add parts of the stock into the mixture.
- Add the kidney beans and stir around until evenly spread out.
- Add a cinnamon stick for flavour and then allow to simmer for 40 minutes.
- Place your Real Yorkshire Puddings into the oven for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Whilst waiting for the Yorkshire puddings, cut an avocado and smash the mixture into a bowl to make it soft.
- Chop 1 red chilli to garnish.
- Spoon your mixture fairly into each Yorkshire pudding and top it off with your smashed avocado and chilli.

Ingredients:
4 The Real Yorkshire Pudding Company Large Gluten Free Yorkshire Puddings
⅔ cup dark chocolate (100 g)
2 tablespoons butter
2 teaspoons golden syrup
2 teaspoons double cream
Method:
- Place your Real Yorkshire Puddings into the oven for 3 to 4 minutes.
- For the chocolate sauce, heat the chocolate, butter, double cream and golden syrup in a bowl above heated water until melted. Whisk until smooth.
- Serve the puddings with whipped cream and chocolate sauce.
