Who’s excited! Pancake Day is almost here🥞
We all know Yorkshire puddings and pancakes have the same mixture, so why
not try out some of our favourite sweet and savoury recipes for Pancake Day
using puds? 😏
Yorkshire puddings with white chocolate & berries
A very simple, yet super tasty recipe for all the family!
All you will need is 4 of our tasty Yorkshires, some of your favourite fruits and 40g
of melted white chocolate 🍫
You will need to put your Yorkshire puddings in the oven, and whilst you’re
waiting for these to go golden brown, melt your white chocolate either in the
microwave or over a pan of boiling water. Once your pud is cooked, and your
chocolate has melted, place your fruit inside your puds and drizzle the chocolate
on top 😋
Bacon & egg Yorkshire puddings
If you’re more of a savoury person, then look no further. The ingredients needed
for this recipe are a 4 pack of our Yorkshire puddings, 4 small eggs and 8 rashers
of bacon 🥓
Grab a frying pan and place your bacon and eggs over the heat, allowing the
bacon to crisp to your liking and make sure the egg is cooked but still runny.
Whilst these are cooking, you will need to put your Yorkshire puddings in the
oven, following the guidance on the packet.
To assemble your puds, place 2 bacon strips in each pudding and 1 egg on top of
the bacon, then DIG IN!
Eton Mess Yorkshire puddings
Get your baking hats on and your Yorkshire puddings out 😎
For this recipe you will need a pack of our 4 Yorkshire puddings, 8 small
strawberries, whipped cream, icing sugar and 4 small meringues 🍯
Simply heat your oven to 200°C/fan 180°C/gas mark 6 and bake your puds for 4-5
minutes. When they are golden brown, take them out of the oven and fill your
pud with whipped cream, adding 2 strawberries and 1 crushed meringue to each
pud. Lastly, sprinkle some icing sugar on top and dive in 🍓
Smoked ham & cheese Yorkshire puddings
Last, but not least is another savoury treat 😋
For this you will only need 4 ingredients: 4 slices of ham, a pinch of fresh chives,
60g of grated cheese and a 4 pack of our Yorkshire puddings.
Simply place the Yorkshires in the oven for 3 minutes, then put your ham and
cheese inside the puddings and put them back in the oven to melt your cheese a
further 2 minutes 🧀
Take them out and sprinkle a few chives on top. These are perfect served straight
from the oven but be careful, they will be hot!
