3 Recipes You Can Try This Pudcake Day
You’ve all heard of Pancake Day, but have you ever tried replacing pancakes with pudcakes? We find there’s always too little topping on a pancake, but when you replace them with our good ol’ Yorkshires, you get a deliciously moreish sweet treat that can be filled with as much pancake topping as you desire.
Lemon and Sugar
It’s possibly one of the simplest and most common pancake toppings, but it sure does fit the bill for a truly mouth-watering topping for a pudcake! We shouldn’t need to tell you the ingredients, but in case you were wondering, it’s a generous drizzle of lemon juice and a sprinkling of caster sugar.
Sweet, tangy and definitely delicious.
Chocolate spread
Another popular choice with both kids and adults alike! Load up that golden Yorkshire with chocolatey goodness and maybe even sprinkle some marshmallows on top. If you want to go to the next level, whack ‘em in the grill and get a toasted, gooey finish on the marshmallows too. 🤤
Fresh berries and maple syrup
It might be the healthiest option of them all, but there’s certainly no compromise on taste. Chop up some strawberries, blueberries and raspberries and tip them into your warm Yorkshire pudding. Drizzle the whole thing in luscious maple syrup. It’s a pud fit for a king.
